7/1/03 - Is anyone out there actually from Curry County, OR?
-------------------------
6/30/03 - So, I'm gonna' have four printed-pieces of Bruno (which I colored on the computer) at Pushdot Studio this First-Thursday in the Pearl in Portland. Alongside some cool online cartoonists, including: Kevin Moore, Jenn Manley Lee, Barry Deutsch, Indigo Kelleigh, Linda Medley, and Robert Lewis. To see the full detailed press-release and all that jazz, it's all here at Jenn's site (who organized it). Yay!
-------------------------
7/3/03 - So I'm writing this at 10:12pm on the 3rd actually, and Bethanne and I just got home after the Pushdot show. And I'm just beat. Two nights ago I managed to draw two strips (which seems to capture my fatigue) and lettered the third, which I haven't had two moments to rub together since to complete. And then visitors from out of town are coming this weekend, and then me spending next week packing everything I own and moving out, plus getting over a week ahead on Bruno for the San Diego show. Then move to Olympia, and three weeks after that on the road in Canada. I'm burnt. Like toast. Already. And it's barely beginning.
So, as you can see, there is no strip right now (a later note: 7/4/03 1:53pm, there is one up now). I'll try to get one up today, but I'm not going to beat myself up about it. Especially since it as a holiday and all that. But now, now I sleep.
Despite it being pathetically early.
And please be compassionate if I miss one here or there the next two months. I'll be doing my best.

7/5/03 - So a thank you to Pushdot Studios for a great first Thursday, it was fun to be a part of the show ( and it'll be showing all month if you missed it). I had a great time hob-nobbing with the other cartoonists and visitors. A very pleasant day overall in-fact, including some comic-book-philosophy chatting over burritoes with Dylan and Erika down from Seattle. Very fun. Yay! (Well, of course, aside from me being way behind, way overtired, and therefore a person of brains of moosh.)
-------------------------
7/7/03 - Bruno is back, a little light kiss laid on the lips, and sleeping beauty comes up again to the surface, like bubbles, like light.
I loved doing the secondary character weeks, but I did miss her. Glad she's back.
Oh, and the San Diego Comic-Con (next week, folks), it looks like we'll be at table "U2" (just think, "He's a rock-star, just like the band"), in the small-press area, under the name "Baldwin and Lee".
