Lasper’s ship hurtled through space, while Gerek, Val, and Audri slept in the upstairs lounge. Vale woke up and made her way down to the bridge. Lasper greeted her, “Hey, Val. You three have been asleep for a while. You must’ve really gone through an ordeal back there.” Val said, “Sure, but as my uncle used to say, “no sense dwelling on hardships, because there’s always the potential for a danish hooker to be around the next corner.” Lasper said, “Ah” as he pondered this. Val aded, “he was a strange one.” Lasper said, “Family usually is.”

Danes are great.
Her uncle was right. All my bad times have been followed by good. Whatever hardship I’m going through, I know from experience that I’ve been through worse and the best is yet to come.
I think I now have a new favorite saying….
I’m not too much into hookers but yes, I’m that uncle.
If you don’t know who’s the excentric uncle in the room, it’s usually you.
But what happens after the Danish hooker? Seems to me that it can only go downhill from there.
