Awww! Purrloin. <3

Upset with what was going on, Knox stood up with fists clenched and said to Krep, “wait. This is not okay. You seem to want to harm our friend Thoos, and that’s not happening without a fight.” Krep upped him unconscious with a laser gun. Picknar asked, “aren’t lasers still illegal?” Krep said, “you must not travel on ships much. Trained ‘officers in charge’ are allowed access to a properly secured weapon, which can only be used on the bridge. Quelling mutinies and all that.” Purrloin stepped up onto Knox’s unconscious chest, kneaded it a bit, and then laid down on it and purred. Rodrigo, now with a metal cover grafted to his shoulder where the wound was, woke up and slightly deliriously said, “why’re you napping sweet Knox? We’re at the zoo. Or maybe the moon.” Leaning in and watching, Stangor, a roundish orange squirrel-like alien’ said, “wow. What is that guy on?” Crossing her arms, Ciara said, “medi-bot, have you been holding out on us with the good stuff?”

I think Krep is making that up.
Come on Medi-bot ‘ole buddy ‘ole pal, lets have some of those drugs you have been holding!
Yeah, I coulda guessed there’d be an ‘exception’ or two to the G.O.B. Sullivan Act. I do expect to see more of them, and soon. Knox didn’t hear the speech; he was only zapped. That’s going to leave a distinct psychic mark, and no foolin’.
On the bright side, Krep is exploiting an actual legal loophole, which shows at least some respect for the process. As opposed to just having a gun because he wants one and to heck with the rules, which seems a lot more Krep-like.
“Can” only be used on the bridge? Or “May” only be used on the bridge? Rather an important distinction when the mutineers have taken over engineering…
