I don’t know. If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.

Gerek continued talking to Audri and Val. He said, “but here’s the thing, just because Bollycks became bloodthirsty pirates doesn’t mean that killing and plundering are in a Bollyck’s nature. It’s not like it’s genetic or something. It’s been taught, but not learned by all. We have our motherships where many of our gentler people reside.” Gerek thought back to signing up for pirating with his lover, and he continued, “I always leaned more towards compassion, but my lover, Fhaul, convinced me to sign up with her to a pirate ship even though I didn’t want to. I did, and we went, and she died in our first battle. How’s that for dumb luck? I lost all ambition for piracy, of course, but after participating in a few raids I also didn’t feel I fit in on the mothership anymore either. And so here I am.” Val said, “for some of us, killing just isn’t a good fit, is it?” Audri added, “‘A’ for effort though.”

It’s not easy being a Bollyck.
We have a Boliek running for office here. Hmmm. Maybe a misspelling on the roadside signs?
I wonder….might that first battle have been the one where we first were introduced to the pirates? Hmmmm. Things that make you go: Hmmmm….
Yeah, I was also wondering if that first battle might have been one of the several earlier Bollyk encounters we’ve seen. After all, being laser-proof, Bollyk’s don’t get defeated that often, apparently. (but a projectile weapon works just fine)
Some wimmen can get ya into trouble, that’s for sure!
What’s that scent? Faint, but… just barely discernible.
Is it… Could it be…? Yes! The smell of STOCKHOLM!
