It’s hard to be good when you’re going against the tide.
———————-Alt Text———————-
The Bollyck, who just picked up Val and Audri, was named Gerek. He said, “struggle some, to make it look good, but not so much that I drop you.” In the background the voice of Runk was heard from behind the escape pod doors, “hey! Why won’t this launch?” Gerek began running, Val and Audri under his arms. He said to some passing Bollycks, “the bridge is back that way! The captain is in his escape pod, which I disabled! But these two are mine!” One of the passing Bollycks said, “good to see you finally developing some bloodthirst, Gerek!” While the other Bollyck just laughed. Val asked, “are you sure you’re not going to murder us and devour our organs?” Gerek said, “weren’t you listening to her back there? She practically spelled out that I don’t fit in due to not being into that stuff. Yeesh. Don’t be idiots and make me regret this.” Then as the passed more Bollycks, Gerek put his act back on and yelled, “Hahahahaha! Mine! Mine!” After passing those Bollycks, Gerek said, “trust me, behaving this way is much more disconcerting for me than it is for you.” Wide-eyed, Audri said, “I’m not so sure about that.”

A bollyck with a conscience. What do we see next, a happily sleeping kangaroo during a fight?
Maybe a bollyck that has been mindswapped?
.
“How am I doing?”
“Very convincing.”
Looks like Runk is gonna get his overdue comeuppance after all. Serves him right.
I’d ask why a Bollyck in the background has a gun, but then I realized that Bollycks *probably* don’t care too much about the G.O.P. rules.
That aside, seeing Gerek behaving this way is kind of like seeing a Qiyemp with a backbone.
I’d bet there are *lots* of people who don’t put up more than a pretense of following the G.O.P. rules given how utterly ineffective the G.O.P. has been at pretty much everything.
The GOB, Galactic Organizational Body. The GOP is pro-gun…
Auto-correct just loves to put ironic twists on things, doesn’t it?
Although one could argue that the G.O.P. is close to G.O.B. levels of incompetence at times…
I bet the captain won’t be bored for long!
Ah! The old disabled escape pod trick!
That’s the second time I’ve fallen for that this week!
So…Up next, the Cone of Silence? 😛
Kill the lights, Gerek.
By an odd coincidence, the name “Gerek” is pretty close to “gyerek”, the Hungarian word for “child, kid”. 😀
So what’s Gerek’s endgame? He/she was pretty fast getting aboard, and may have had live capture in mind to start with. But why? What’s coming next? I somehow don’t believe it’s going to be vegetarian potluck. Where’s Gerek going with the captives?
