I don’t know why it makes me so happy to introduce this Bullock. Maybe it’s the first real piece of familiarity with previous Spacetrawler stories? Maybe I just like him.

Val zoomed out of the ship’s captain’s deck on roller-skates, until two green hands reached out and grabbed them both individually by the fur. It was a Bullock, who held them suspended in the air, and said, “it’s okay. I’m not going to hurt you.” Audri said, “you just restricted our body autonomy, so we have reason to doubt you.” The Bullock said, “I heard what that brute just did to you after I hotwired the doors open. He basically gave you a death sentence while he escaped in luxury. Well, it was the final straw for me. I’m determined to save you two, and I assure you, it’ll be the only chance you’ll get. Will you trust me?” Val said, “of all my options, this being the only one I have, I choose ‘yes.'” Audri said, “I’ll go along with you, but ‘trust’ takes time and kindness. And maybe some hugs.” A bit deflated, the bullock said, “how about trusting me with a little more enthusiasm. Can you do that?” Val said, “nope.” And Audri said, “is that a trick question?”

Hearing a Bollyck speak kindly is as shocking as hearing Mongo muse on being a pawn in the game of life, having in each case thought it beyond their capacity to do so. I like it.
By the way, I think Otto Korekt has messed with your ability to type Bollyck.
Yep. Except I refer to it as Auto Co-wrecked. I probably have spent too much time in the fire/rescue business…. 😛
I call it either Auto-Carrot, or Auto-Corrupt, and don’t actually have it active on any of my devices.
I mean, it’s aBullock who’s not a terrible person! Apparently!

And anyway, our girls are gonna need some friends.
The dread space pirate Bollyck will most likely kill them in the morning.
I thought they were Bollycks, but this one is a Bullock! Maybe that’s why he’s actually nice. The Bollycks are the jerks, the Bullocks are nice.
I’m going to call him Sandra.
It’s not “him”, it’s “her”. The bullocks are the gentle, considerate females of the species. The males (bollycks) are the bad ones.
Or maybe the females just like to play with the food, like cats.
My bad, the bullock is “him” (as stated by Christopher). The ones we’ve seen in 1st series are the female bollycks. Who are really annoyed by people that play with food.
Also, brown, not green.
I had to give a critical look at the “green” hands, and grudgingly admit it’s a slightly greenish brown. That seems to be a popular color in vehicles lately.
I spot checked different panels and the RGB values don’t fluctuate much. https://colordesigner.io/color-name-finder says the color is Olive. I have to use a website like that because I’m terrible at differentiating shades. 😀
To which I can only say, “Bollocks.”
