“Tis but a scratch.” And yeah, Rigo, you deserve a Limbic Fizzler.

The wingship took off into space, with Knox, Rodrigo, Picknar, Thoos, and Purrloin aboard. Knox sat on the floor with Rodrigo cradled in his arms and sniffed, some tears falling down his face. Smiling, Rodrigo said, don’t worry. It’s a mere flesh wound. I’ll survive. Besides, there’s no way I’m going to die before trying a limbic fizzler.” As the earth grew smaller outside the windshield, Rodrigo said, “and this. This is going to be such a grand adventure.” Meanwhile, back on earth, Craig smiled and pointed as he looked up, and he said, “oh, I see, by ‘alien,’ he meant an aaaaalien. my bad.”

Now THATS the right attitude!
Which? Rigo’s I could find heroic and promising, but Claude’s is a bag of shit with a hole in it. Hold it over your face, Claude, see if you can find the problem.
Who’s Claude? Did you mean Craig?
Why should anybody think that the Alien is from space? Just ‘cause space is closer don’t mean nuthin’.
.
.
I hope that they don’t shoot back.
.
“So were we wrong shooting at them?”
“Hell, no! They were body snatchers!”
“Oh, we should make a wall around the sky, then…”
I mean I saw somewhere that some guy called “Die-Sun” or something like that wanted a wall around the Sun – compared to that, a wall around the Earth should be so much easier – it’s much closer after all, amirite?!? I just don’t know how we’ll make the aliens pay for it if we can’t find them in the first place…
I seem to recall Knox trying to make that exact specification when he was asking about having the girls institutionalized. Or does skinhead here just have selective memory?
I meant Rigo has the right attitude. Knox is still focused on Rigo, and Craig and his posse are idiots and should be in jail soon, but the witnesses are now riding away on a friggin’ alien spaceship!
Not a cloud on Earth.
Maybe it’s just a wallpaper.
Tis But A Scratch! Yes! There it is! Or, close enough anyway. 🙂
So, have we seen that style of ship before? Do we know who picked them up?
Yep, it’s a Spacetrawler wingship like Nogg’s.
I’m provisionally assuming Vogons.
So where did Rigo learn about lambic fizzles?
He has likely seen, heard or read one of the many incarnations of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
One of the Tiths mentioned it.
What a mellow kitty! Purrloin is kickin’ back.
It will be interesting to see how Purrloin’s character develops as I am sure the cat will be chipped for speech. Might turn out to be the most intelligent of the group.
Now that wouldn’t surprise me in the least. Cats and dogs (and coyote’s) are all very smart. They just cant speak a human language. 🙂
