Boy, did I have fun drawing all these “paintings.” Yay!

Leaning towards the placard for the next painting, that of a cat in a historic dress, Rodrigo said, ‘so, let’s see. This kitty, whose name was Mouse, is… “such a cute little girl, how did she get so cute? And so little? And she’s such a good girl. And clever! Source of cuteness unknown, but has been much discussed.'” Picknar said, “it comes through in her eyes.” Rodrigo moved on to the next one, of a cat in armor, and said, “and this kitty was named Rumble Longtail. ‘his fondest wish was to go out and explore the universe. He hasn’t been heard from since.'” Picknar said, “I hope he caught the first ship off-world.” The next painting was one of a woman in a pink dress, and Rodrigo said, “and on to people. This fair maiden, Jonnie Pearl, ‘discovered that the venom of the rattlesnake is deadly She wasn’t a scientist, it wasn’t a scientific kind of ‘discovery.”” Picknar said, “reminds me of my childhood ‘discovery’ that I couldn’t eat all the cake that I wanted. But by winkledop’s eyes, I tried. It also didn’t end well.”

It would be a nice surprise if Rumble Longtail DID catch a ship offworld.
Somehow, Picknar is related to Mr. Zorilla. You said there wouldn’t be any displaced Zorillas in this story. You lied.
After a kangaroo and a coyote, a cat is the logical next step.
You are awesome, Christopher! Thanks!
Some voyages of discovery, internal or external, end more happily that others. >urp< 'Scuse me!
It’s so wonderful to see sweet Mouse and my best buddy Rumble immortalized in the Spacetrawler comic. Mouse continues to be a very good girl. Rumble, I miss him so much.
I must say they are very good renderings of paintings indeed, especially in the angled views. They still possess that sense of reality even when they’re turned half away, destroying the illusion of depth behind. Well done, Christopher.
