Some gags are better left to the imagination.

Discouraged, Val said, “I can’t help it, Audri, I find it madness to even think that way. In what way is a space-yak a cis woman?” Putting her hands to her chest-like or maybe chin-like area, Audri said, “on the inside. Hey, it just occurred to me, we don’t even know how to use the bathroom.” Audri pointed towards a hallway labeled “toilet” and said, “listen, there’s one right there. Let’s do it, and get it over and done with. Then we can celebrate by my playing bells and dancing.” Allowing herself to be coddled, Val said, “whatever. okay.” They went into the toilet, and in a bit they came back out again, both looking distressed. Audri said, “I guess we’re going to have to get used to that.” Val said, “I’m no longer in the mood to dance.”

Remembering the Mad Magazine spoof of Star Wars where one panel is in a bathroom.
You’ll be dancing if you don’t go.
The alt text is missing most of Audri’s line from the second panel.
And the word “coddled” is misspelled “coddles” in the alt text
Oops. Thanks! Fixed!
I need answers! Also english ship?
Haven’t signs always been auto-translated once you get the appropriate shot? And they already seem to have brains that are appropriately equipped.
Actually, that might be how they understood everything at first. If the bodies have the translator tech already “installed”, they could be talking English and still understand whatever the space yaks speak, and vice-versa.
What @Loki said! 🙂
Putting the “gag” in “gag.”
Things are better off *not* being left to *my* imagination…..
MY EYES!!!! MY MIIIIIIIND’S EEEYYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!! ! ! !
They had to find out eventually that these bodies have a cloaca, right?
I’m thinking it’s more like wombats, but not cubes. They poop scutoid shapes or something.
