Happy Monday. Um. Can’t think of anything to say today. π

Still in the sitting area near the hot springs, Rodrigo leaned forward and smiled at Picknar and Thoos (in Val and Audri’s bodies, respectively) and said, “please, you two, tell us more.” Face-palming his acceptance to the situation, Knox added, “sigh. Yes, please do. Sure.” Thoos replied, “okay. But can we continue over food? I feel like I haven’t eaten all day.” Knox, getting suspicious, put his hands to his hips and asked, “I suppose you want us to pay?” Picknar stepped in and said, “we might be able to pay. How does one pay here?” Knox said, “um. money or cards. In your wallets. Probably in your bags. May I look?” Picknar said, “sure. Go ahead.” Knox knelt down and looked in Val/Picknar’s bag and pulled out a wallet full of cash. Gears turning, Knox said, “okay. I guess we’ll go if you treat us. And we’ll give you a fair lesson in American currency.” With a defeated look in their eyes, Picknar said, “II see a gleam in your eye. Please don’t scam us too hard.” Indicated Knox, Rodrigo smiled and said, “I’ll keep an eye on him. He is a rather shifty sort, isn’t he?” Frustrated, Knox replied, “the crap I get for simply not wanting to buy two nutty strangers a burger with fries!”

No worries, Picknar, it’s Val’s treat.
Ppl used to tell stories for a good diner, as payment.
Or sing.
Seems like they’ve already told a whopper! (See what I did there? Lol)
[dinner]
Thoos lost the gleam in her eye along with the free food. “Spoilsport.”
Um, Knox’s specs are just glasses now instead of shades, you forgot to color them. That aside, are we gonna check in on the two ladies in the alien bodies next?
You can get glasses that darken in bright light, turning themselves into sunglasses. Then when you go into a dark environment, you always gotta wait for them to adjust.
I used to wear those ALL THE TIME. They were awesome!
Until my prescription made them too thick darn it. And bifocal-ly.
@Scorpinac, oops! Thanks! I accidentally had that layer turned off when I saved it. Updated!
And yes, we will switch scenes to WHATEVER IT IS THAT MIGHT HAPPEN NEXT on Feb 14th. π
Boy, they picked up human expressions quickly enough.
Thoos and Picknar are adapting really well, all things considered.
They should have asked the scammer for steak and lobster
