Turning to Thoos, Picknar said, “so, what’s your down-on-your-luck story, Thoos?” Thoos rambled in reply, “do you mean aside from lying on my application by writing that my parents were dead? And the fact that I’m being blackmailed? And blowing all my money on parties and designer drugs?” A little annoyed and resigned, Picknar said, “sure. Aside from those three wee tiny things.” Excited, Thoos said, “aside from those things, my luck is pretty good actually.”

So, no probs can be foreseen with doing a body swap here. Everything is just dunky hory.

And next, we hear the other one’s story, and it’s just as bad. So, when the bad guys come after them, they won’t know who they are, unless it’s the same bad guys coming after both of them.
Thoos’s spending habits remind me of the famous line from Irish footballer George Best, “I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.”
Now I’m beginning to wonder if any part of this ‘experiment’ ISN’T a scam. So what did Picknar falsify on his application? The compulsory sex crimes, the shoot-on-sight order, the crime boss vendetta? Hm? And just what is going to go wrong with Loomp’s apparatus? Trade part of Thoos for more embarrassing deficits of Picknar? Blend them together so they share bodies but respond to what the other one is having done to them? Might be funny to see Picknar coughing up filthy river water as Thoos marvels that he can seemingly breathe water while fleeing from the murderous thugs by running on the slimy river bottom. I can hardly wait.
