There’s the correct answer, and then there are the group of answers we’d like to hear.

SImple wisdom, I told someone that recently. The real challenge is “ learn to see the Divine in everything.”
“Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God”
“…So it’s very difficult?”
“Ma’am, if you somehow have the power to force a dromedary through a 3 millimeter aperture, you shouldn’t.”
One thing you’ve probably seen around is that the ‘eye of a needle’ was the name of a narrow gateway into Jerusalem such that any camels going through had to unload everything to fit. That’s probably bullshit, though. Earliest reference from the 12th century AD, according to this webpage that I liked the look of.

Oh, yes, that old chestnut. It’s one of those things that’s so plainly self-serving that its falsity is ipso facto.
If for no other reason than you’d be ending a camel’s life and making a big mess.
I think that is the result of a mistranslation. Should be camel hair rope.
They dropped the word “rope”. Does not change the homily, and is not ludicrous.
A 3mm aperture (0.12″, almost 1/8″) seems like a pretty big needle.
Go look at some pictures of iron-age “needles”. Most of them were pretty chunky because making super fine things without machinery is highly difficult work.
Make sure they need what you own.
.
“What am I supposed to do with THIS?”
“Clean your pool!”
“…Thank you?”
“Don’t sweat the small stuff, and it’s all ‘small stuff’ until they’re actually shooting at you.”
Don’t sweat the petty stuff and don’t pet the sweaty stuff.
Am 90% sure that Choan could give away 90% of her wealth today and have double that next year.
There are some assets you cannot transfer.
“I have nothing today, but next year I’ll have three times that!”
Thing is, what Choan REALLY owns that’s ACTUALLY valuable, is her intellect.
And giving that to others is making tech that makes other’s life’s better, either for free or for cheap…
Which WOULD help with her thinking she’s becoming evil, in the end XD
Wouldn’t medication be simpler?
Most of the answers to the Great Questions of Life are actually quite simple.
The complexity happens when the answers aren’t the answers people want to hear.
One example: “Eat less and exercise more.”
Choan entirely missed the main point Werjimond left for her to discern, to wit: Choan’s arrogance is her main obstacle to being wiser. Not to mention more compassionate, more sympathetic, more empathetic, easier to get along with, more capable of doing more with her gifts and, of course, capable of discerning this one Goddamn simple point.
Knocking the high-tech props on which Choan rests would be a simple response to such willful, indeed pride-cursed arrogance. But I sense Werjimond isn’t going to do that, not least because it isn’t effective, satisfying as it may be. The better recourse is to lead Choan into a situation of her own making that her usual means of defeating and escaping the circumstances won’t work. She’ll have to come up with better. Failing that, she’ll fail… and may learn from that. If she somehow finds the strength or the way not to be a cheap amateur cock-knocker about it.
The ball’s in Werjimond’s court. Let’s see how she spins it.
I predict it wont be “Where’s Her Mind” who teaches Choan the lesson she needs to learn. It will, of course, be Ruddock. That may take awhile, though.
‘S gonna be fun either way. Let’s watch.
