Ruddock isn’t seeking anything, but if some cheese or a mouse fell in front of his path, he wouldn’t mind, really.

My limited experience suggests that modesty comes with wisdom, so good question.

“No, I said I think she’s pretty high.”
“I thought you left.”
Chris, you make some pretty ~ugly-arse aliens.
Poor guys. I try not to recoil from the ugliness, but jeez…
YOU try coming up with new aliens practically on a weekly basis without duplication. Almost daily, if you’re doing some kind of crowd scene. It can’t be easy.
The One Eye on Top of the Head is a cool idea, although they’d have to keep their brain somewhere else to make room for a spherical eyeball. I visualize something that evolved in an environment were most predators flew. Those orange “clouds?”
I also like how the older versions get jowly.
I LOVE that doorbells make the same sound everywhere in the universe.
If they didn’t make a sound *something* like that they wouldn’t be door *bells*.
Yeah, “door blaats” doesn’t have the same, um, ring to it…
Is that when the doorbell button is connected to an electric whoopie cushion?
The Addams Family has a door foghorn.
“I am wisest of all the Greeks because that which I do not know, I do not think I know either.” So says Plato of what the Oracle told Socrates. Discerning readers will note this is an appositional refutation of the Dunning-Kruger effect, where stupid people believe they know more than anybody else because they can’t imagine anybody knowing more than they do. Socrates here states he knows his ignorance, leaving it to the listener to conclude that other people aren’t as smart or at least as intellectually honest.
Werjimond here disposes of the chicanery and leaves Choan with a blunt assertion. Whether this is what Choan really came to hear is the question I suppose she’s going to have to answer for herself, the next strip or thereafter. Choan doesn’t seem to realize that she’s asking for somebody less wise. But I imagine that will come to her soon enough. For us, at least.
What about a mouse made of cheese? I’m sure with this level of technology, it’s possible to make edible robot mice where all the plastic part are actually different types of cheeses.
He probably made cheese-flavored robot mice.
