@Henrik N, It is Alkyine. And yes, the ship has ambidexterity. I wasn’t sure if was a big enough detail to mention. but for dialogue purposes, and Diller always needing to be the one reacting, it only made sense to put Alkyine there. 🙂

Does Diller have an inbuilt infinite improbability drive? 😉

Hm. I get the impression that Diller is not the only lucky being around. This is twice now Alkyline has showed up in the presence of the humans to accomplish an amazing rescue. A nearly impossible to calculate impossible rescue, now repeated. Methinks there’s more to her than meets the eye…. which is, of course, given her semitransparent state, perfectly logical.
That doesn’t mean that what will follow will be any more logical, but hey, that would be BORING.

A plush toy of Diller would be very cute.
Demarquis
Whoa, I haven’t seen Diller communicate so much since she was first introduced.
Night-Gaunt
Such a nice congenial being he is.

Both are female gender. Actually, it’s Stangor that I have trouble thinking as female. I know she is but looking at her, she’s looks male to me.

Well, she’s fat, arrogant, cruel, self-centered, and tried to burn Emily’s head off in an ambush. I understand the confusion.
What with saving all those mice many strips ago and now summoning Alkyine Quort, Diller really shows off her “come hither luck”.
They can’t be really far from the big battle, so what is Alkyine doing there managing to avoid being fired upon, or not noticing anything?
Maybe stalking Chiphu. In her case, attraction is really fatal.
The Diller is always in the the place The Diller should be.

“Thanks for accepting my ally request on the approxiscan… Oh wow, we have an ally in common! Can you believe the luck?”
::nod::
Ahhh… Diller is back! And as talkative as always. I love Diller.
But the other semitransparent fellow is also back iirc. Or?
It must be another Darnitawl, not Alkyine Quort who has a ship with left hand drive. Or maybe the ships have ambidexterity?
