The thing is, if the peril or obstacle is big, we are willing to steel ourselves to undergo the big peril in order to succeed. But an annoyance? We just shrug it off at first – “It’s nothing!” But, if it keeps coming back, it wears at us slowly, without stopping, without remorse. And we fall to it.
“It wears at us slowly, without stopping, without remorse, without stopping…” Kind of how dripping water will eventually wear a hole through rock?
Listen, and understand. That Alkartika is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are wet.
Thank God Disney won’t be picking this up soon for their channel.
