The mice are back. They should’ve been there, I just forgot. Will add them at some point. :-/

I feel like Nogg having the Stirbs’ extremely protected technology and being completely clueless about it or how important it is that he has it is the most devastating insult he could throw at them.
If these missiles do exist, that could be trouble.
I’m willing to bet they do. One of the first things you do when developing a defense mechanism is figure out a way to bypass it.
I get the impression Choan is counting on Nogg to get the Stribs to show off more of their tech so she can steal it. Including their mysterious power source. It’s a good thing Nogg is so effortlessly clueless in such efforts, or it might all be for nought.
Anyway. The hospital released me, the head wound is nothing, my other organs still work, but sometime next week I get spinal surgery to make sure I stay motile. In case anybody missed me this past week.
I feel like I missed a couple of messages! Sorry to hear of your misfortune, and hope your condition continues to improve.
I have missed your commentary, and I’m sorry it took this much to keep you out of the comments. I send my best hopes winging toward you for a satisfactory outcome to your surgery and a quick recovery therefrom.
Ok, that’s like getting the punchline without the rest of the joke. What happened?
(That was supposed to be a reply to Pete Rogan. Ooops)
Oh, Pete! I’m so sorry to hear. I’m glad you’re on the mend! You’ll be in my thoughts for the surgery, I hope it goes off without a hitch. <3
Thank you, Christopher. And thanks as well to Flyswatter, Efogoto, and M.A. along with anyone else thinking sympathetically of me.
My new doctor didn’t like my low blood pressure, so he sent me to the ER. On the way in I tripped over a parking block and landed on my face. I didn’t hurt anything (though I bent my glasses something fierce) but you should have seen them scoop me up and rush me through Registration. I ended up having a series of tests done, including the one I had seen my new doctor to get, figuring it would be a week. So I may have actually saved time finding out I need spinal surgery. The prognosis is positive and I expect no lasting ill effects. I may in fact be more mobile than I am today; we shall see.
Oh. And I checked the concrete I hit on the way out. No damage there, either. I didn’t have so much as a scratch. Talk about your strong-in-the-head mystique.
Wow… thoughts and prayers buddy.
“Hey, why aren’t the missiles launching?”
“Looks like they sent a virus disguised as a copy of GOB Today.”
“They swatted us with a newspaper?!”
“And now they’ve collected our waste exhaust and are rubbing the ship’s nose in it.”
Nice 🙂

The mice are not the only thing I like about Spacetrawler, but I do like them. Thanks Christopher.
“The mice are back. They should’ve been there, I just forgot. Will add them at some point.”
Yeesh. This page shows that the mice have spread in the GOB Spacetrawler to at least the galley. I look forward to trawling through the comic spaces in the post-mice-add future to find your additions, wherever they may be hiding. Waldo Schmaldo.
The Stribs have the most advanced shields and weapons in the known galaxy but, their bridge tele-screen display is black & white?
No, that’s Nogg’s transmitter.
Dogs don’t see color? (this is not an official answer, but might be as close to one as you ever get) 😉
A common misconception. Dogs do see color, they just have no receptors tuned for red like we do. So they’re effectively red-green color blind.
Toss a red ball into green grass and watch them have to resort to their nose to find it.
So there’s an entire part of the galaxy where this tech is normal and nobody knows about it?
It’s disturbing that the Stribs seem to have an understanding of whose tech is advanced in which region of the Galaxy. They either have better info gathering tactics or a technology that lets them lift tech they want without being detected. Either is disturbing, and contemplating that they may have both advantages gives me pause. The Stribs may be more formidable than they already appear, and that means trouble. How’d they develop shield-piercing missiles, anyway? Did they steal them from somebody who (used to) have the ability to penetrate Strib shields?
Man, I want a look at that power source. I think there’s more behind the acquisition of THAT technology than it appears.
The Noggotiation attempt has been unsuccessful.
I love how openly happy the Strib fellow looks in the last panel.
It’s wonderfully disturbing.
