I forgot about the mice! Looked and found one here but now I’ll have to check past pages of the crew and spaceship.
I have it as 1-0-0-0-0-2 here.
Now if only the numbers of mice were some kind of code.
There’s something that looks a little bit like a mouse under the chair in panel 4, but it might be an optical illusion.

What ABOUT the Soubriell Cadre?? Are they better? Or, worse, are they competitors? A great deal could hang on their potential involvement, if when and how.
Ahhhum… Has anybody else noticed the mice seem to be larger? The food replicator may not be making any more but these seem robust, and that suggests 1) they’re finding food on their own, 2) they could be replicating on their own and the offspring are bigger than their parents. Not sure what the implications are, but the hair on the back of my neck came up and I can’t find any other cause.
As a next step, you need to have at least one mouse riding on Rudick’s back, like Fremen riding the Sandworms!
Make it that the Soubriell Cadre prosecute people for crimes against Eebs. It is led by Rikshaw Boans and has fought our Granny’s because they protected the owners of the Eebs.
It would be an awesome arc.
The mice are small enough as it is. I can only confirm one sighting in P6. The other two locations are not clear enough to tell.
Strange how they look just like Terran grey mice with the twitchy noses and big bulging black eyes.
Nice to see them linking up.
In panel 1, the mouse is at the lower right of the frame on a straight line below Tesfay’s ear.
In panel six, there is one to the left side of the frame sitting plainly on the step near Stangor, but there is another to the far right of the same step peering around the riser at Stangor.
