(BTW my wife and daughter suspect that I have come down with CDO as a result of enduring my stay at home experience during the last 10 months.)

Oh, and thanks, Oldbear, I knew I had heard of repellium before but didn’t connect it to Wells until you mentioned it. Now I must go watch the film again, fifty years old and more but still our best imagining of the novel.
Alternate ending: Chiphu is still sitting in his seat. “What, doesn’t everybody fasten their seat belt in a spaceship command seat?”
Wait – if gravity feels upside down in today’s strip then why did they only notice it now? What about the previous two strips, both taking place since they boarded the ship?
