If gravity is going the other way, they wouldn’t feel “upside down.” Flipping the camera over is cheating a bit. We never do that for movies made in Australia.
Speak for yourself! If you haven’t seen The Man from Snowy River inverted, you have not lived!
Did you do something to the website? the regular badlwinpage landing page used to have the current comic but now it’s a front page complete with lorem ipsum text
Hi Ray! Yes, the front page is being converted (still under construction) into a landing page (by request from my publisher), and so Spacetrawler will now only be here:
https://www.baldwinpage.com/spacetrawler
Sorry if that causes any inconvenience!
?”Oh, what a feeling, when we’re dancing on the ceiling…”?
“Ciara, stop that.”
Aside from its insistence on indenting everything, it looks like the text editor can’t handle musical note symbols as well.
It’s easy to hand wave some explaination. But a hollow massive earth will have regular gravity on the outside and no apparent gravity on the inside. -the more you know-
Yeah, I was kind of amazed when I found that out. Inside of a spherical hollow mass has no gravity, even on the surface of the sphere. Somebody had to walk me through it to prove it to me.
I know this is kind of generic, but I just wanted to say “thank you” for this strip. It is funny, engaging, emotional, good to look at. I am impressed by the story and the frequency. Just an all-around great job. Thanks.
This! I agree with all of those sentiments, and have said so before. Thanks Christopher! And thanks kade for reminding me to express my thanks once again.
I like that the encased spacetrawler looks like a mask for a costume ball. I guess that doesn’t end well for the partygoers in that Poe story, though.
Eeep.
I’ve been referencing Masque of the Red Death just about everywhere… hubs and I were inventing places that are holding such dances nowadays.
Thanks for the laugh! (I thought the same, that the crusty ship looked like one too)
Kudos for the “Masque of the Red Death” analogy. Very appropriate in this day and age.
That said, what is this? Inside-out planet season? The former Calama Void (now the Calama Black Hole) was a wonder and a shame to have been collapsed, but what’s the deal with 2672-Wezwez? Can you really mine a planet out so thoroughly that only a crust of tailings is left? If so, just what the heck is there left to mine? And what does this have to do with Gordik repellium, really? I sense a connection here.
Going back to a regular large pop. My foot is getting tired from pumping the giant-sized one. Say, is this chair supposed to bend like this?
