If the Irish didn’t have a trickster goddess, they have one now.
Mad Sweeney: “I’m in love!”
You could say *all* of the Tuatha Dé Danann are trickster deities. Ciara fits right in.
Medic! Reminds me of Starship Troopers 😀
“Flores died on the way up.”
She’s a hands on kind of woman.
Why would she crush the bot that was simply fulfilling its nonaggressive function? Because she couldn’t do the same to her dipstick fellow passengers who so recklessly use weapons around it? Because she doesn’t want her shipmates to learn how to accurately use weapons? Or did she think the purpose of the exercise was to destroy the bot, and this is the method she prefers?
The bot is for combat practice. She practiced combat. Therefore, she won.
Easy.
I cannot say how much I enjoy this. Love it.
It also reminds me of this one Russian woman I knew in college. A wasp came into our kitchen and she just flung up a hand and nailed it in one swift motion. Killed it completely with no visible effort at all.
PLEASE tell me she then downed a shot of vodka!
I love Russian women and will always mourn the loss of my Russian-born wife (may G_D keep her close).
I like the way Irish alternative solutions tend to involve physical violence of some kind. It certainly simplifies things in the short run.
Tends to be exhausting for any period of time, though. Somehow I think Ciara has a way for dealing with those long-term consequences. Looking forward to learning how she does it. I’ll bet it’s a pip.
Some real aggression here.
