So how does Ciara, an apparent standard-issue Earth Human, come to be on the Satellite O’Bureaucracy? Apparently having connections with the people in charge gets you some leeway about bringing your new friends along, even if you’re from a Dark Planet.
Ciara seems to be adjusting rather well to the circumstances.

It’s called a Celtic knot. While many cultures had knot patterns, the Celts are probably the most famous for it as theirs got absorbed by Christianity and used for decorating books, crosses and churches.

Oh, I LIKE Ciara and her bearing. Never mind my attraction to better-built women, Ciara strikes me as the most balanced Earthling we’ve met so far. On first glance. There may be more to see later. In fact, I’m sure of it, beginning with the story of how the HELL she is in Halip’s presence in the first place.

How on Earth does Dimitri still not have a cup holder on his belt or something?!? I mean he’s clearly incapable of existing separated from his glass of something undoubtedly high-proof, but holding that glass 24/7 must get old fast even for a guy like him…
