I’ve got to be totally blunt: Devyat, Joyce, and Anesu are some of the most admirable female characters I’ve run across in science fiction. Each intelligent, compassionate, and capable to a more-than-malely-normal degree. If only Robert Heinlein had treated his feminine characters as well. Kudos, Christopher. More power to you, and more stories with Devyat, Joyce and Anesu in them.
