Christopher, it’s not just Mr. Zorilla’s personality that I can’t stand but that face of his. Every time I see him, I want to improve it with a cast iron frying pan to his head. It would likely improve his personality too. Would probably need the frying pan repeatedly applied over many days.

Zorilla has upgraded to shuttle parenting.

Ordinarily Mr. Zorilla makes me wince. Now he’s making me actually cringe. I’m sure the next way he gets between Mauricio and Jabby I’m going to convulse. And not in a good way.

OOO! OOO! I KNOW!
Due to some machinations by Jabby and the misapplication of a surplus of pflarg, Jabby manages to migrate over to Mr. Zorilla. Hilarity ensues.

Mr. Zorilla to me is simultaneously the comedy routine that doesn’t age well, and the relative we all have who is far far lacking in social graces. They exist in an interesting space of being a comedy character severely lacking in empathy that feels one dimensional, but also… Not. I know people in my family who occupy that niche quite well, and are rather huffy when you try to pull them out of it.
Apologies if this comes off as giving flak to how he’s written. I like how the character’s written, don’t get me wrong. I just want to smack them upside the head.
