I actually believe that last thing Hwan said is true.
Best punch line of the month.
P.S. if watching martial arts techniques worked, even with perfect memory, every Bruce Lee fan would be an expert.
Just recalling them would be insufficient. YOu would need to learn how it feels and what is the right feeling of it. And Lee’s work in film wasn’t his full fighting style. He preferred pupils with some experience in fighting and in dancing.
However a perfect memory of it could aid in his training. Now if the martial arts moves were programmed in. It would be a different matter.
Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hwan Club Band?
Oh, the number of places I could use Hwan’s last line. Stealing! With attribution, of course, and the link when it’s via web.
Well, I have ADHD. I’ve been telling people for years that I know people who pay good money on drugs so they can experience life the way I do just by opening my eyes in the morning.
Of course, Devyat isn’t using Hwan as a guinea pig for testing her research on nanotechnology for neutralizing Jabby.
Dang, that is a great line but I can’t use it. Never taken drugs, not even weed. The first time I smelled someone using it I had an allergic reaction so I never tried it. Best I could do is say I’ve paid more money for worse whiskey. Doesn’t really have the same ring to it.
Genius line though, Chris.
Typo: last panel of third row: “actiually”.
