Old characters have such deep and complex relationships. It’s always interesting to come back to them.
Phew. I have been killing myself working towards a grant application, and finally sent it off tonight (Tuesday). Cross your fingers for me!

Final panel: I’TS -> IT’S
A misplaced apostrophe – this must be my most quibblesome nitpick yet π
Panel 8. “it doesn’t phase me” should be “it doesn’t faze me”. Whole different meaning there.
I’ts Space Talk π
Oh and it’s “hangar”. A “hanger” is for hanging up stuff like coats. A “hangar” though is a shed to store horses and/or spaceships.

Emily, second to last panel. I’ll should be I’m. Sorry to nitpick.
Man, I think you were really tired. Along with the aforementioned edits, the next to last panel should be “I’m never going to get” or “I’ll never get” used to this mushiness.
Great to see some of the old gang getting involved! Thanks for the comic!
Hahahaha! Yes, I have been a bit tired and frazzled. Fixed all the errors (I hope)! Thank you all for the feedback, it means a lot. π
Ugh, this comic is so mushy. ^_^
Emily seems to have been tempered so much she is quiet yet staid and yet she has that idea that emotion is somehow “weak” maybe an over active warrior gene? No more youthful happy-go-lucky passion. Tempered to a bureaucrat, but a good one.
(Bureaucracy came about to facilitate speed of the machinations of govt. Emily is one of those that maintains that legacy lost on Terra.)
I do agree with her, I’d rather die doing something than not to save the universe from ultimate destruction.
Love the dynamics, all of them. Families are like this, as we all know. But we’re still so fascinated when we see them playing out elsewhere.
Of such is the Kingdom of Heaven.
