Choan is such a happy person. Knowing what makes her happy, I don’t think I want to be near her when she’s having fun.
Considering how she always appears to be happy, I’m more concerned about what it might take to make her angry.
I just love how blase and “day at the office” both Choan and King are about insane eebs, the state of the GOB, dark-light drives, and the entire spacetravel infrastructure.
I love how easily and simple business-deals are done in this verse. Just like the tea cookies, its “You want to do business?” “Yeah!” and its settled.
Wonderful!
Also how non-proprietorial choan is about Dimtri. I think they would make a great couple.
I’ve got a feeling this is excactly how CEOs of mega-size corporations talk to each other.

I’m glad the confidence came through in the strip. I find that my friends who are highly successful, aside from being smart etc, they are very very confident people or at least present themselves as such. And yes, @Jonesy, I imagine that too. 😉

I’m sorry, I don’t get the last bit. Apparently you do? Does this mean King doesn’t think Nogg is alive? Or what in Choan’s remarks makes him think she knows something more than King does?

Ohhhhh. Duh. OK. I think it would be clearer if the last panel said “Apparently you’ve met her” or something. Or I’m just slow. ^_^
