I quietly ask for links, and I get io9‘d. Thank you, universe.
Back in reality, thank you to Lauren Davis and the staff of io9 for the write-up, and welcome to all the visitors who came from there. I hope you’ve enjoyed the archives.
Thank you as well to the Croatian site Stripovi.com for the mention (google English translation).
And lastly, thank you to whoever “stumbleuponed” me, as well as all the Twitter mentions: Comicplanet, Bizarcane, Ave Sin Nido, Confluency, Simonleuf, Shineanthology, and Mike Russel (Culturepulp).
Hm. I hope that’s everybody.
Been meaning to mention as well, if you want to follow me: Twitter and Facebook.
Not much news otherwise. For those who were readers of Little Dee, I finally shipped out the last of the book orders on Friday. My friend Kyle was in town, so that meant good food and laughing hard. And my girlfriend and I talked at length about diagnosing and creating a potential therapeutic plan a theoretical Narcissistic Personality Disorder patient. Good times.
Mike Russell of Culture Pop? Not the Mike Peterson isn’t enjoying this, mind you …
Hey Mike. Wrong Mike. So many Mikes. Fixed. All that and before tea even.
Looking forward to our upcoming project working together (apparently even subconsciously). 🙂
So now we have to figure out what fiendish (and undoubtedly sexually oriented) plan is fermenting in Dimitri’s brain. Maybe he’s hoping Gahhrt will introduce him to Gahhrt’s daughter?
Ahhh… The deviousness of the Russian mind. Remember: a Russian will say one thing, think another, and do a third.
(Or so my Russian-born wife — may G_D keep her close — would tell me. Far too frequently. Would that she were still here to tell me that…)
I’m just another of the unwashed mass led here by io9. Great comic, I’ve already read all the back issues and am looking forward to the next issue.
So that’s how they introduced Russian Tea Cookies to Tornitus 6.
As for the gun, it reminds me of this. Yeah, I know you weren’t referencing it. It was funnier before I made teh relation.
Lastly, love the colors on those pasties!
Dimitri, always a funny scene when this guy is involved!
Wonderful – a different world. Thanks. I will let my son (a programmer) know. He would live this too.
Chuck
Russian tea cookies… Dmitri’s version of transparent aluminum.
I’ve told all my friends. This sort of stuff is just up our ally. It’s a dark and creepy ally on a city-planet full of scoundrelly individuals, by the way.
I’ve known several Russians/former USSRians, and … yeah. Yeah, that’s pretty spot on.

Kind of a reverse of Monty Python’s “Cheese Shop” sketch, isn’t it?
“No sir, I was deliberately wasting your time sir.”
