I had a lovely time at my friends’ Jenny and Ben’s Halloween party. And I like how my Cookie Monster costume came out. That, and a homemade batch of cookies, and I was ready to go.

10/31/14 Lamenting Lamont
Happy Halloween. I’m going to a party at a friend’s place. Going as cookie monster, sort of an outwards appearance of what my soul really is. I’d show you a picture, but I only have the material and the plans and am making it Friday, so you’ll have to wait until Monday.
10/29/14 What's Going On
Wednesday I plan to paint ALL DAY. I am very excited and working hard to get everything done today so i won’t have to think about it tomorrow. 🙂
10/27/14 Unstoppable Plans
Had a fun weekend. Went out with friends Friday night. Saturday I perused the farmer’s market before getting a coffee and setting down to write for a couple hours at the library. Later, just before it began raining, I even got some racquetball in. Sunday I went and saw “Dead Poet’s Society” on the big screen, which is such a lovely film. Then I spent a relaxed evening fiddling with reference photos for a new painting and coloring Little Dee pages.
Oh, and Friday, on my way out, I figured out how to form my next comic project together. I found the glue for it so-to-speak. That was exciting.
10/24/14 Prepare To Die
The jet pack was my Chekov’s gun. 😉
Listening to T.H. White’s “The Once and Future King,” and I’m enjoying it much more than I should. The mournful love between the characters, the desperate desire to avoid war.
10/22/14 Lamont Confesses
I need my days to slow down. It has been non-stop and I can’t seem to get caught up on all the extra stuff so I can get caught up on the other stuff. But the residency was mailed off, and the grant application is now ready to go. Almost.
I still ate okay today and played racquetball. Remember that lesson, kids! It’s important to take care of yourself.
And I had some cookies. Because that’s important too.
10/20/14 Lamont’s Submission
Spent the weekend doing some fun things. Went for a walk with a friend. Got material to make a Cookie Monster costume for Halloween. Ate cookies. Played racquetball.
I also finished compiling documents for an art residency as well as an art grant — so keep your fingers crossed.
Stweart and I (mostly Stewart) are still puttering at the site. Next is to build individual directories for each comic. some layout stuff. See if we can convince WP to let readers click on the comic to navigate to the next strip. Good stuff. Thank you for your patience.
10/17/14 Star Accuses
Spent some of the day working on a grant proposal, and some on a residency proposal. Worked on a freelance job, and got some coloring done. Still feel out of it. I need toothpicks to prop open my eyelids.
The site is coming together though. Stewart C. Baker (fiction and poetry writer, check him out at Infomancy) has been working hard with the brilliant support of Corey here and there too. Yay!
The current plan is to have the main page show ALL the comics, and then have unique directories for each project. If you have any thoughts of functionality or design you think would be good, don’t hesitate to shout out.
10/15/14 Obvious Solutions
Okay. ALMOST caught up after my short wander on the west coast.
For those who only visit the site on M-W-F, make sure to also come Tuesday and Thursday! I’m now posting “Yontengu” which was drawn by Don Ahé and written by myself.
Today I played racquetball for the first time in weeks. Amazing how some skills slip so quickly. Plus, when I last did it I was finishing up my novel, and now I need some new story problems to ponder as I hit.
10/13/14 Sleeptalking
Monday! Still working on website redesign. Will probably be tinkering at it all week, thank you for your patience!
