I know these strips are coming fast and furious (and are even many days behind already), but that is because it’s all about transition, which is always a busy and thoughtful time. Soon enough there will be little to report on, as most of my days will involved sitting at the same place at the same desk creating comics, and things will catch up and slow down.
I think it’s interesting the way you depict things versus the description of reality. Specifically, I saw panels 2 and 3 and was surprised that you did not wear a mask in the planes and airports, but then your description in panel 4 implies that you did. Any reason you decided to draw yourself without a mask?
@Sean_K, Ha! Well, I imagine part of WHY you found it so interesting is that it is nonsensical. 🙂 Yeah, it was simply a mistake. It seems a significant thing one wouldn’t miss, but I’m always amazed by what I manage to miss. 🙂
