Reminds me of this: “Muchos años después, frente al pelotón de fusilamiento, el coronel Aureliano Buendía había de recordar aquella tarde remota en que su padre lo llevó a conocer el hielo. ”
I do plan to, although not sure when. I think I’m at about 116 or so, which is still pretty slim. Although I’ve thought a lot about including previous iterations (the dailies) as well. We’ll see. 🙂

By odd juxtaposition, I just spent an hour looking for a manuscript in my files, fruitlessly. It was not in ten boxes or two full filing cabinets, though a good deal more material was. I’m reminded that I need to document this for my literary executor so HE doesn’t go blind sorting through all this paper. I’m fortunate in that I still have the original electronic files and can just re-print, which reminds me of all the documentation I need to do with my computer files to make the task completeable. At 116? Not sure I can be that optimistic; I also could be onto something else entirely new and all this will just be prelude.

I confused el helado with el hielo you see.
I only understand about half the words, but that’s gotta be GG Márquez, isn’t it?
“Bohemian!” That’s the word I’ve been looking for. You are a Bronze Star Bohemian with a gold oak leaf cluster!
Are you going to collect all these in a book?
Oh, and bonus points for having a “Rose is Rose” trash moment!

Ha! I’m guessing you’re jesting, but in case I was unclear, I meant I’ve completed about 116 weekly strips. 🙂
