Phew! Made it! Now, four months here of NOTHING BUT WORK. Although I’m sure I’ll still have PLENTY of things for the journal comic.

Dang; it was a pity about Amy Winehouse. Her story reminds me a lot of Janis Joplin and a little like Karen Carpenter. So much talent, such great voices, taken far too soon.
The fall of the prophets.
You do more in a week than I do in a year.
I’m not sure if that feels that way because you have a diary of events and I don’t, so my events just fade into routine.
I’m thinking I will do a proper journal. Maybe a drawing one like yours.
I do NOT do as much as you, but I think I do more than I think but just don’t mark the events and so they lack a significant portion of my memory and therefore of myself and my definition.
Anyway, I wanted to tell you that this journal which I originally just sort of skipped has become a small highlight of my week;s reading and has now inspired me start one of my own. π
That’s so warming to hear, thanks for sharing that, Sara. And yes, if I wait any amount of time, it’s all just “stuff” I did, and slips into forgotten non-memory. Although I began this strip PARTLY because our lives have been so strange and wonderful and bizarre, when I used to do the diary strip about my day-to-day life, I still found immense pleasure in the details. π
I just find it amazing what you do. I guess it shows I do very little. But in the mean time reading about all the things you do with others is interesting to me. I see why some people have successful autobiographies. To me you certainly live a life worth reporting on. I do enjoy them. Thanx for letting us in on some of your daily activities. π
I highly recommend everything by Jasper Fforde … the Thursday Next books, the Nursery Crime series, Shades of Grey, and even the youth-oriented Last Dragonslayer series.
