Spent the day drawing MAD Magazine strips until my eyes were bleeding sugar candy syrup, and now an Irish pub beckons. Because the emerald green hills of Ireland are anywhere sporting verdigris and Guinness.

Ooooh, had a good weekend. Lot’s of painting. On Saturday “The Big Lebowski” was playing at the Egyptian Theater, a restored old theater up in Coos Bay, so Cedra Wood and I went up there, checked out the Coos Bay Art Museum, got a bite, saw the show, and had a lovely time. Then Sunday, back to painting.

So, have begun to settle in here in Oregon. Just spent the last 8 hours drawing. Take breaks to walk, stretch my back and legs. Feeling good. Feeling SO ready to ramp up these long days of work (I have a few more hours to go today) after a week of driving.

I’m on the road, from Arizona to Oregon. Many people and stops to see along the way. I should be there by the 18th. All strips have been uploaded, so, barring any significant issues, it SHOULD go smoothly. I’ll have intermittent email and web access during the drive, so I’ll keep on eye on things and do my best to address any problems. Cheers! -Christopher
